Collection: Paul Crowley
Paul Crowley (aka 366 Days of Photography) is a designer, photographer and film editor from Hertford.
Inspired (read: awestruck) by the work of Bert Hardy, Mary Ellen Mark and Vivian Maier, he tries to capture everyday moments candidly, without posing or waiting for the right shot. It’s a fast photography – a photography on the move.
Paul's background is in design, stretching back before the Mac revolution when type was cast and prints came out of darkrooms. But the real love of cameras was passed down from his father in the form of a slightly dented Praktica BCS. However, for all the nostalgia, he's a firm proponent of the digital camera on account of its speed and flexibility.
Digital drawings, sometimes including scanned photographs, are a current interest.
